Offsite Activites Busselton Baptist Camping Centre
Within 30 minutes we have access to some of WA’s most picturesque sea cliffs. This great site with nursery (10m), intermediate (25m) and big (40m) cliffs is perfect to undertake a day or half day Abseiling. Combining Rock-climbing with abseiling at the sea cliffs makes for a super adventurous day! Our other abseil sites are set in the Boranup Forest south of Margaret River and can be mixed with caving as required.
The same cliffs 30 minutes from camp, set right on the edge of the Indian ocean, is considered WA’s premier cliffs for Rock-Climbing. With a range of climbs - easy & hard, short & tall - the Edge team can select the right climbs & deliver fantastic instruction. As previously mentioned, a days climbing blends extremely well with abseiling here.
1 hour away from Geographe we have a series of adventure caves that Edge Tours has access to. These caves include moderate adventure level with group sizes of up to 20, through to technical adventure caves with small group sizes of only 7. Caving can be mixed with Abseiling with vertical entry (& optional vertical entry) caves. Caving brings a special level of adventure to a program.
In just 15 minutes, you can be at one of the stunning bays in the Cape Naturaliste area where students can have a genuine sea kayak journey. This can be a stand alone activity or come as a follow on from a “sea kayak skills” session, maximising the time we have & spending more of it on the water. We use double sit-on-top kayaks that are easy to balance & manoeuvre. An unforgettable experience!
